Enabling GPU Passthrough

KS / KS 3000U / KSa 3004U

Before enabling GPU passthrough, the GPU can only be used by pods. After enabling, a virtual ma-chine can access and use the physical GPU.

  1. Go to EonKube > Cluster > Nodes.
  2. Find a node with a GPU installed. Select the node and click Enable GPU Passthrough.
  3. Restart the node.
  4. To enable passthrough on a specific GPU, do one of the following:
    • Go to EonKube > Virtualization > GPUs. Select the GPU with its status indicated as “Dis-abled”. Click Enable Passthrough.
    • Enable passthrough while setting up a virtual machine. For more information, see the GPUs (GPU Passthrough) section in Setting up a Virtual Machine.
